I was looking at this post in my facebook and it inspired me.

This remind me about my own experience, it’s not good to be in an abusive environment and trust me, not fun, not easy and it requires tons of courage to walk away from that situation.
You might say “Oh.. was that REALLY THAT SERIOUS?! (that you need to move out)? Please my friends, do not EVER say this to any one that express their thought or plan to do that. I know, being Asian, we usually do not want to get involve in anyone’s problem, especially relationship or marriage issue and we have the “mind your own business” thinking.
But let me tell you, when someone is experiencing domestic abuse and asked for help, PLEASE do not humiliate them or take thing for granted. We might LOST them because we convinced them it’s a small problem and advise them to try to ‘adjust’ into that situation.
What should we do? Think about what you have to offer to help at least to the safety concerns to the victim. Offer a room in your house to them? Offer your living room for a night or two? Offer your ear to listen to what is happening and HOW you can help them to at least be away from a dangerous situation.
I am STRICTLY against domestic abuse, and below are some of the information that might help anyone:
The Woman Aid Organization Malaysia: +603 7956 3488
